Floral Design Portfolio

Below are a number of select floral arrangements I've created and displayed at a number of events and/or exhibitions. Designing artistic compositions from these beautiful creations of nature is but one of many ways I enjoy reminding the world of the simple marvels around us we so often take for granted.

"Fort Orange" Gala Centerpiece

Designed with numerous varieties of flowers, featuring primarily the signature colors of the City of Albany, this design was featured at a spring gala located at the "Fort Orange" club in Albany, meant to lavishly depict the colorful pinnacles of the season.

"Breath of Spring"

Pictured to the right is the first ever design I've featured at "Cathedral in Bloom," Albany New York's largest annual floral show as a representative for "Blooms by Marie." In creating this arrangement, I focused on creating a piece indicative of the indicative shift from Winter to Spring, utilizing both warm and cool colors, as well as other lush and barren components in order to create internal contrast and visual interest, especially considering the stunning backdrop to this composition.

A Wildflower Wedding

Among the numerous weddings I've helmed floral design for during my time working at "Blooms by Marie," few compare to the delightful style and composition as this lovely wildflower themed wedding in the Spring of 2024. To the left if showcased a particularly unique "Pillar Piece" as well as a centerpiece in the style of this wedding.
